Caribana for teens
The Caribana Festival unveils a varied musical program and special entertainment for teenagers. The organizers are also announcing a number of improvements to the grounds for the comfort of festival-goers.
A change of trend for this 23rd edition, Sunday unveils a program more targeted at 12 to 17 year-olds, mixing concerts and sports. The final of the Caribateens DJ Contest will be held, giving the three selected DJs the chance to showcase their talents. Concerts by young local bands Military Legends, Sebomic, Drop Dead, Inside Joke and The SeptiZ round out the day's musical program. Nyon band TWEEK will close the day on the lake stage.
2013 improvements
In response to a request from festival-goers, the organizers are pleased to announce that public access to the lake is once again possible. In addition, to improve public comfort in bad weather, the people in charge of the infrastructure have redesigned the strategic passages and access to the stands using a new ground protection system.
The Caribana Festival takes place from June 5 to 9, 2013 in Crans-près-Céligny.
