A clip for education
The Enfants du Monde association and the Zappar company present the video clip for the track "On veut", a milestone in the "Une chanson pour l'éducation" project, sponsored by French-speaking singers K, Marc Aymon and Nicolas Fraissinet.
Enfants du Monde's "A song for education" project enables Swiss schoolchildren to show their solidarity by committing themselves to better access and quality education for children in developing countries. Primary and secondary school classes in French-speaking Switzerland have the opportunity to sign up for the project. For the past 3 years, during the school year, pupils (aged 8 to 14) have been reflecting on issues linked to the right to education for all by writing a song on the importance of quality education, recording it in the studio and performing it on stage. Classes are supervised by entertainment specialists, from writing to production.
For the 2014-2015 edition, over 450 pupils from Switzerland and Burkina Faso (including 19 classes in French-speaking Switzerland) took part in the project. Three Swiss singers, Marc Aymon and Nicolas Fraissinet, as well as K, an actor involved in the initiative from the outset, were the patrons.
The three sponsors flew to Burkina Faso in early 2014 to meet the children and local stakeholders. The song We want to that it was decided to shoot a video clip. Produced by the Zappar company, headed by Yannick Cochand, and directed by Fabrice Ravier, the clip can be seen here: http://youtu.be/LEHLe-8jSFA
