Musicians vote for musicians
The Swiss Music Awards take place on February 27, with a new prize.
In 2007, the Swiss Music Awards (SMA) organization set out to reward the creativity and success of Swiss musicians. On February 27, 2015, at Zurich's Hallenstadion, the SMAs will be awarded for the eighth time.
New this year is the "Artist Award", a prize awarded to musicians by musicians, to involve artists even more closely in the SMA. Swiss musicians themselves were invited to choose who among them deserved to be recognized for their musical performance. Any individual artist or group complying with SMA regulations could be nominated.
The nominated artists - in all categories - will be announced on January 28, 2015.
