Since its creation in 2002, La Fête de la Musique d'Yverdon has encouraged musical creation, and launched a competition to finance creations for each of its editions. Applications are now open for 2016.
Musicians from the French-speaking part of Switzerland can now propose an original, unique, musical project designed especially for Tuesday, June 21, 2016, the day of the Fête de la Musique in Yverdon-les-Bains. This day of music takes place during the week, so it's important that the creations reach out to all potential audiences, at their place of work, as part of their activities, on stage, etc.
The Fête de la Musique d'Yverdon offers: the opportunity to create and realize a musical project, financial support (from 5,000 to 15,000 francs), promotional follow-up, as well as administrative, logistical and technical support.
The application, which must include a description of the project, a detailed budget, a biography with press kit and CD of the artists participating in the project, and a completed application form, must be submitted by January 4, 2016. The jury's selection will be announced at the end of January.
