This industry award recognizes "the commitment of personalities whose vision and energy stimulate the festival market in a dynamic, creative and positive way".

Born in 1953, Daniel Rossellat grew up in the Nyon countryside and, at the age of 19, became a cultural animator. It was in this context that, with a few friends, he organized his first concerts at the Folk-Club de l'Escalier, which in 1975 became "Paléo Arts & Spectacles", the association which, to this day, organizes the Paléo Festival Nyon. In 42 editions, the Paléo Festival has attracted nearly 6.5 million spectators, and is now a major cultural event in Switzerland and beyond. A veritable ephemeral city of over 230,000 spectators over 6 days, the Festival enjoys the loyalty of an enthusiastic public and has been awarded several prizes and certifications in recognition of its efforts in the cultural field, for its ethics, and for its environmental policy.

Both a springboard for young talent and a showcase for internationally renowned artists, Paléo has gradually opened up to all styles of music, as well as to the circus and street arts. Its seven stages feature artists from all over the world, and particular care is given to the welcome, decor, choice of food and craft stalls, and its many scenographic and architectural installations.
