Paléo postponed to 2021

Given the exceptional nature of the situation in which we find ourselves, and the uncertainty surrounding summer events, the 45th edition of the Paléo Festival has been postponed until next year.

It will take place from July 19 to 25, 2021. The programmers are working with the artists scheduled for 2020, including Céline Dion, to offer as far as possible the same program in 2021. Tickets and subscriptions purchased remain valid for 2021.

Paléo has been held every year since 1976. It has always been guided by strong values, the desire to move, but above all by the energy and commitment of a team of almost 5000 volunteers, 65 permanent employees, hundreds of suppliers, sponsors, stands and service providers.

The worldwide health crisis linked to Covid-19 is a totally unprecedented situation. Paléo's top priority is to guarantee the safety of its audience, teams, artists and all those involved in the organization of the festival. This is why the difficult decision was taken to postpone the 45th edition of the Festival.

This postponement will inevitably have serious financial repercussions for the Festival. As a non-profit (non-subsidized) association, Paléo generates around 80 % of its revenue from ticket, food and drink sales at the event. All tickets and subscriptions purchased remain valid for the 2021 edition. The festival invites its loyal audience to keep their tickets and subscriptions warm until July 2021. "It is thanks to you and your loyalty that the continuity of Paléo can be assured. Nevertheless, we understand that postponing the festival until next year may not suit everyone. For special situations, we will do our utmost to find a solution. This will require several weeks' work, but we will of course keep you informed as soon as possible," explains the press release.
