"Le Bois qui Chante": definitely multicolored!

The "le Bois qui Chante" festival continues its quest for beauty and harmony by inviting a wide variety of music to Château d'Œx for a week, featuring both established figures and promising young talents, and offering delights for the mouth, the eyes and the spirit.

Classical, jazz, cinema, children's stories, gastronomy, forest walks, workshops: the 13th edition, running from September 27 to October 6, is no exception to the tradition of diversity. Headliners include soprano Brigitte Fournier, who is making the trip with the trio nota Bene and violist Gérard Caussé, the unclassifiable Tchiki Duo, the no less improbable "Barbouze de chez Fior", Zug's Kammersolisten and actress Anne Richard, in the guise of a children's storyteller.

The traditional Bois qui Chante forest walk takes place this year on Sunday, October 6. The orchestral workshop, offered since the first edition of the festival, will be led by Alexandre Clerc on September 28 and 29. This year, he will be inviting trainees to work on Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, with a public concert on the 29th.

Founded in 2001 under the impetus of the Château-d'Œx Tourist Office and a family of musicians from Geneva, this unique festival delights hundreds of music-lovers every year, drawn by the mysteries of resonance wood.
