A star project for the Valais bicentenary

This interdisciplinary fusion of film and symphonic music was created by Jonas Imhof (composition) and Christoph Heinen (animation). The film is an imaginary opening of borders, with images created to accompany the symphony. Cinphonie 2015 pushes back artistic boundaries through the images and sounds of which it is composed. It will be presented in October 2015 by the Orchestre Symphonique du Valais, created especially for this project, and conducted by Etienne Mounir.

The work will be presented at the Salle de concert de la Poste in Visp, the Théâtre les Halles in Sierre and the Théâtre du Martolet in Saint-Maurice. The orchestra will be accompanied by electronic music by Manuel Mengis and Yannick Barman.

The dates:
October 9 8pm, October 11 5pm: La Poste, Visp
October 16 7.30pm, October 17 7.30pm: Les Halles, Sierre
October 24, 8:30pm: Théâtre du Martolet, Saint-Maurice
