New scholarships in London and Zug

The Landis & Gyr Foundation renews its offer for studio bursaries in London and Zug for 2017 and 2018.

Studio grants consist of a monthly stipend and the free use of an apartment. They cover the fields of visual arts, composition, cultural criticism and literature. Swiss artists and artists of other nationalities who have been resident in Switzerland for more than 3 years are eligible to apply. Studio grants are awarded to candidates with recognized experience in their field. There is no age limit.

Composition grants are awarded for London only. The Foundation owns five "aisonnettes" in the East End. These are two-room apartments on two floors. They are spacious for one person, but small for two.

In fields other than composition, the Zug residency is only open to applications from French- and Italian-speaking Switzerland.

Conditions of participation and application forms are available on: www.lg-stiftung.ch.

The registration deadline is January 15, 2016.
