She sings on the world's most prestigious stages, he is one of the world's most renowned conductors: Magdalena Kožená and Sir Simon Rattle can be announced in good conscience as true world stars. In addition to great symphonic and operatic works, it is the intimacy of chamber music that is particularly close to their hearts. Sir Simon Rattle regularly sits down at the piano and forms a chamber music ensemble with friends to accompany Magdalena Kožená; Kaspar Zehnder, principal conductor of the Biel-Solothurn Symphony Orchestra, is the ensemble's flutist.

The new CD Evening by Magdalena Kozena, Sir Simon Rattle & Friends has just been released, and it captures the atmosphere of a musical evening among friends with a program in the great tradition of Lieder. With this program, featuring works by Chausson, Stravinsky, Ravel, Strauss, Brahms, Janáček and Dvořák, the ensemble now tours Europe, finishing at New York's Lincoln Center. At the invitation of Kaspar Zehnder, the only concert in Switzerland will take place on October 14 at the Palais des Congrès in Biel. These stars pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Orchestre Symphonique Bienne Soleure.
