Three composers
The members of the Confrérie des Vignerons Council have chosen the authors and artists who will work with Daniele Finzi Pasca to create the 2019 Fête des Vignerons.
Director Daniele Finzi Pasca will be joined by seven talented artists: composer Maria Bonzanigo, his artistic partner for over thirty years, will be responsible for the musical conception and coordination of the Festival. She will be able to count on the talent and creativity of two established young Vaud composers, Jérôme Berney and Valentin Villard.
The libretto will be written by Blaise Hofmann and Stéphane Blok. Costumes will be designed by Italian costume designer Giovanna Buzzi. Finally, French scenographer Jean Rabasse will be in charge of designing the scenic site, sets and machinery for the show.
The composers, librettists, costume designer and set designer were chosen for their talent, creativity and ability to collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team on a long-term project that is both popular and demanding, traditional and innovative at the same time.
