It's with We're all getting off the coconut tree!Barnabé closes his latest season, conceived with former artistic director Emmanuel Samatani, with a new musical and theatrical show based on the work of Jean-Villard Gilles. In this show, he plays Serge, the slightly anarchic founder of the "Petit carrousel", a housing cooperative in the Lavaux region. It's a role tailor-made for Jean-Claude Pasche, and one that echoes the extraordinary career of this opera, classical music, organ and model train enthusiast.

With Serge's departure, the inhabitants of the "Petit carrousel" will bring the place to life in a most unusual way. And that's exactly what's happening in the theater's history, since Valérie Bovet has been entrusted with the direction and will breathe a breath of fresh air into this place steeped in history.
Renewal without denial is the credo of the new director - chosen by Barnabé and the foundation - who is working with her team to maintain the soul of these premises, while offering a few surprises for her first season, starting in October 2017. So it's with a serene mind that Barnabé sees his wish come true: to see this venue endure in a popular spirit of comedy, musical shows and humor.
