Copyright vs. Internet
The five Swiss collecting societies are organizing a public workshop entitled "Copyright vs. the Internet - scenarios for copyright management".
Self-service or fair payment, conflict or consensus: from a social perspective, what form do we want copyright to take on the Internet? This workshop will discuss the challenges facing our society in this area, in the company of experts, interest groups and people familiar with practical realities.
The workshop, organized by the five Swiss management companies ProLitteris, SSA, Suisa, Suissimage and Swissperform, will take place on April 12, at a venue yet to be determined.
