Composer in residence
A new Suisa Foundation "Composer in Residence" project, worth CHF 80,000, will be awarded every two years to young Swiss composers whose innovative projects contribute to Swiss musical creation.
The aim of this project is to provide substantial support for the musical careers of the beneficiaries, enabling young artists to concentrate fully on their musical creation throughout the project.
The first project will focus on the theme of "Music and performance for/with children". The exact duration of the project, between 2013 and 2014, will be determined in agreement with the beneficiary. Candidates must be members of Suisa and not have exceeded the age of 40. They must be Swiss citizens or have a residence permit.
The closing date for applications is July 31, 2013.
