SERVICES: Suisa

On January 1, 2022, a new agreement between ASEM and SUISA came into force. It regulates copyright royalties for musical performances and certain online uses by music schools. For example, the agreement provides for authorization for online videos of up to 30 minutes in length. These must be accessible free of charge and aimed primarily at audiences in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. In addition, their production budget must not exceed 2,500 Swiss francs.
