About us

The Swiss Music Review is Switzerland's leading specialist publication in the fields of music of all genres, cultural policy and education. Published seven times a year, it is aimed at professional musicians, active amateurs and anyone with an interest in music. It is also aimed at members of music associations, for which it is the official or informal organ. What sets Revue Musicale Suisse apart from other specialist music media is its comprehensive coverage of the Swiss music scene.

Articles range from interviews with personalities to historical overviews and analysis of in-depth musical issues, as well as reports on current creation, festivals, symposia, performances and recent publications. Each issue focuses on a theme, developed in the Focus section. An important place is reserved for job offers.

The revuemusicale.ch website offers daily news in the form of news briefs, reviews, advice and information, as well as classified ads for courses, competitions, symposia and job offers.

The archive section contains all print editions since 2013, available as e-paper (PDF), as well as all main articles published since the first issue in January 1998.
