Central Switzerland Regional Conference

Every year in September, the directors of music schools in the cantons of Central Switzerland meet for a regional conference. Organized under the joint responsibility of ASEM and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences - Music, the aim of this meeting is to encourage exchanges. This year's program included introductory presentations on the development of teaching in the morning, and work in small, interchangeable groups on the morning's topics in the afternoon. "It was a successful meeting, and very interesting in terms of content", says Eva Crastan of the organizing team. She greatly appreciates the event, both as a member of the ASEM committee and as head of department at the Lucerne School of Music. "Musical training doesn't stop at the cantonal border," she stresses. "Together, we can develop ideas and thus have a greater impact on implementation".
