Change in the SSPM Central Committee

The Delegates' Meeting elected two new members to the Central Committee:

Ines Hübner is originally from Berlin, where she also studied. She has been a permanent violinist at the Musikkollegium Winterthur for over 25 years, and is a regular substitute at the Winterthur Conservatory.
Ines is a member of the SSPM Winterthur/Zürcher Oberland committee, and has already made a name for herself with her many critical questions and constructive proposals in the "Communication and structures" working group. She is now keen to become more involved in the SSPM's strategic work. The Central Committee will benefit from her experience gained through her work with USDAM, the CLA negotiations for the Musikkollegium Winterthur and her many years as an employee representative.

Christine Thöni spent her childhood in Interlaken. She works mainly as a piano teacher at the Oberland Ost music school and teaches the optional subject recorder at elementary school. She directs a baroque ensemble and is assistant conductor in two choirs. As president of the teachers' convention at the MSO, she defends the interests of the college within the music school and brings the experience of her long-standing commitment as a delegate to the ADs of the AAEMB and ABEM. She sees the wide dispersal of musicians as a major problem, and is therefore delighted to be able to commit herself to a large association such as the SSPM, which has a good network at Swiss level.

We look forward to working with the new team!

We shall miss the two CC members who have resigned: our thanks go to Beatrice Villiger for her clear and constructive contributions at meetings and for organizing numerous further training courses. And we still can't really imagine a CC without Lucas Bennett. We'll miss his calm and thoughtful manner, his intelligent and pointed statements, even in heated discussions, and his sense of humor!
