Who's taking part in the Tour de Suisse Musical?

From June 7 to 28, 2025, an interactive map of Switzerland will be available on the SSPM website, showing where and when SSPM members and their students make music in Switzerland.

SSPM members produce culture on a daily basis - in concerts and short performances, with their students in auditions and ensemble music practice, and in cultural participation projects. Many performances take place on a small scale and do not receive the attention they deserve.
That's why the SSPM is organizing a Tour de Suisse Musical from Saturday June 7 to 28. In addition to the usual large and small performances, the aim is to organize as many events as possible in unusual locations, with cooperation partners from local businesses, for example. One example is a flute duet between two students at a bakery in Wengen on a Monday morning. The bakery sells "SSPM bread" for the three weeks and also distributes SSPM information material to its customers.
A short video excerpt from the performance is linked to the Tour de Suisse musical card. In the description of the video and in the tour program, there is space to mention the cooperation partners. Of course, all SSPM members' Whitsun concerts, where links to video excerpts are provided, also find their way onto the map.
We have already scheduled an ad hoc open-air choral event by the SSPM Berne in Berne to close the tour on June 28, the Palmarès des lauréats des examens de la section vaudoise on June 17 in Villeneuve, three concerts on June 14, the "Dreiklang" in Winterthur and Elvirissima 2025 on June 9 in Lucerne will also take place as part of the tour. We could make music on a boat, in a department store, on a viewpoint with, as a result, an unusual audience and a particularly beautiful cinematic background. A little baby concert could take place outdoors, on a playground. Good ideas, no matter how crazy, are welcome! SSPM members (or sections) can advertise their concerts and those of their students at: smpv.ch/anmeldeformuar-formular-dinscription-modulo-di-registrazione-tour-de-suisse-musical
Guy Fasel (Vaud), Akiko Hasegawa (Aargau), Florian Mall (Northwestern Switzerland) and Josira Salles (Biel/Jura) support me on the Organizing Committee, which coordinates events and activities on the Tour's main route.

If you are interested in joining the organizing committee, please get in touch.

We're looking forward to a tour that's colorful, rich in sound and a little bit crazy!
