The Tour Musical is ready to go

Our "Musical Tour" will take place from June 7 to 28, 2025. Members will be able to present their artistic activities and their success as musical educators, which they will demonstrate through performances by their students.
The Tour Musical Organizing Committee provides you, dear members, with various documents relating to the Tour: on our website, smpv.ch, you'll find under

"Downloads/Documents" in Instructions for members "Here you'll find detailed information on the Tour. You will also find a " Registration/consent "You can have the students who will be performing in your show, or their parents, fill out and sign this form. This gives you legal protection when videos of your show are published on the interactive map on tour-musical.ch.
We integrate different categories of events in this map and in the Tour program:

1. section events such as teachers' and students' concerts, which take place during the three weeks of the Tour.
2. concerts by our members (solo, chamber music, choir or orchestra), if the concert organizers agree that part of the performance may be filmed and posted on Youtube, and that we may include this video in the event description on tour-musical.ch. In return, we promote the event in our Tour program.
3. events organized especially for the Tour Musical by sections or members, with or without a cooperation partner.

Events with cooperation partners
The organizing committee has drawn up a "sponsor brochure" which you can order from the central secretariat (031 352 22 66) or by e-mail at marianne.wälchli@smpv.ch, and which will help you to find cooperation partners for your show. In the brochure, you'll find a table showing for which donation the SSPM provides which service. In the lower categories, you provide the primary service with your show or that of your students, so you can withhold the donation. In the higher categories, the SSPM provides services in the form of advertising space, writing and publishing company portraits and landing pages on its various websites. This workload must be compensated. For these categories, you negotiate the contract with the cooperation partners and the SSPM, which in such cases charges a percentage of the donation for its work.
Such events are therefore beneficial for you, your cooperation partners and the SSPM. You benefit from the fact that the SSPM promotes your event, and sponsors support it financially. The latter benefit from publicity for their company - let's not forget that the SSPM's 2,500 members teach around 32,000 students of all ages throughout Switzerland. Finally, the SSPM benefits from the fact that events organized with cooperation partners open the way for new circles to discover not only the SSPM, but also the platforms mein-musikunterricht.ch and rent-a-musician.ch.

Competition
Don't worry, the organizing committee doesn't claim to be able to judge which member is the most artistically talented, or which member teaches best. Rather, the aim of the competition is to encourage the organization of original projects for the Tour. The member with the most original performance on a given day of the Tour will be awarded the title "artist of the day" or "teacher of the day", and a portrait of that member will be published on tour-musical.ch, which will in turn be linked to his or her profiles on mein-musikunterricht.ch, rent-a-musician.ch and the member's home page.
