Introduction to computer-assisted music

Registration is now open for Module 1 of the MAO (Computer-Assisted Music) course at ETM Geneva.

Suitable for young people and requiring no prior knowledge, this course will teach students to create their own personalized song using pre-recorded instrumental phrases (loops or samples) on software such as Garage Band, Reason or Cubase. They will also be able to record their own voice or an instrument to complete their creation. At the end of the course, students will leave with their own song on CD.

Reserved for small groups of four to six people and led by Pascal Hausammann, this weekly 60-minute course takes place on Wednesdays at 5pm. It starts on March 13.
Those who want to know more at the end of this introductory course can register for modules 2 ("Learn to compose and produce your own music") and 3 ("Mastering music production techniques").
