In the light of Supermafia
Every two years, the HEMU produces an opera that brings together singers and instrumentalists from the Lausanne and Geneva Hautes Écoles de Musique. The stage of the BCV Concert Hall will thus see the mythical characters of the Figaro's wedding The artists' collective Supermafia, specialists in innovative visual installations, are on hand to showcase all their facets. Their aim is to create a clash between their artistic universe and the world of opera, which, rather than highlighting a theme, will blur the spectator's perception and create a sense of emotion and disorientation.

A subversive work
Sensuality, multiple hazards, humor, psychological and relational complexity are at the heart of this "Folle Journée" full of imbroglios: Susanna and Figaro are preparing their wedding, but the Conte di Almaviva wishes to prevent the union, and seduce the bride-to-be. Singing, music and light projections enhance the mischievous situations.
