Improvisation in the spotlight
The Geneva School of Music, in collaboration with the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze, is organizing four days of symposia, concerts and performances based on improvisation.
They will take place from Tuesday February 11 to Friday February 14, 2020, at the Salle de spectacle of the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze, and will explore four themes related to improvised music: interdisciplinary improvisation, schematic structures and notations, flourishes and arabesques, and new curricula. Numerous speakers, performers and musicians, "from near and far" as the program announces, are invited. Admission is free.
