Federal Song Festival 2015
Although the event is still two and a half years away, the program for the Swiss Singing Festival has already been drawn up in broad outline.
The Festival will take place in Meiringen from June 12 to 21, 2015, and will be the highlight of the singing year. Each day will feature special musical moments in addition to the "jury performances". An official opening ceremony will take place on the Friday of the first weekend.
Swiss choirs wishing to take part will soon be able to register provisionally. Registration documents will be sent out in the 1st quarter of 2013. The overall budget for the festival is estimated at 2.5 million francs. It will be mainly covered by sponsorship.
