Les Délices de Suzy in Algiers
In September, Les Délices de Suzy will be taking up an invitation from the Festival Culturel International de Musique Symphonique in Algiers.
This prestigious festival will take place from September 12 to 19 on the Esplanade du Palais de la Culture Moufdi Zakaria in Algiers. Following on from the Terpsycordes Quartet from Geneva in 2010, the Asasello Quartet from Basel in 2011 and the Ensemble Contrechamps in 2012, Les Délices de Suzy will be representing Switzerland at the 2013 version of this multicultural festival, which brings together ensembles from twenty different countries.
Created in 2009 in the canton of Neuchâtel, this six-piece ensemble brings to life the musical repertoire and ambience of salons, casinos and cinemas at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
