AMO: Program unveiled
The 5th edition of the Automne musical d'Ollon will take place from October 27 to November 24, 2013 at the Ollon temple. Six free concerts are scheduled.
Highlights of this 5th edition include the exceptional concert by the Quatuor sine nomine, featuring two AMO festival regulars, Isabelle Trüb on piano and Niall Brown on cello, on Friday November 22. In addition to performances by the Dohnanyi Quartet on November 3 and the Trüb-Zisman-Brown Piano Trio on November 24, the Lumière Quartet, winners of the 2012 Radio Suisse Italienne competition, will illustrate the event under the banner of "Jeunes en Suisse" on November 17.
This year's traditional "Florilège du Chablais" features the Filidh Ruadh ensemble and a range of Gaelic melodies from the Scottish mountains and islands. On November 2, Pierre Goy will perform a pianoforte work by Aiglon composer Michel Hostettler.
