The Cully Jazz program is now available

The 32nd Cully Jazz Festival invites such jazz greats as Randy Weston, Robert Glasper, Marc Ribot and Avishai Cohen. But also a range of new soul singers and artists with Oriental and African influences.

Highlights include legendary pianist Randy Weston, accompanied by saxophonist Billy Harper; and David Murray, escorted by singer Macy Gray. A New York evening will feature the Medeski trio Martin and Wood, with guest guitarist Nels Cline, followed by Marc Ribot and the uncontrollable Ceramic Dog. Finally, gypsy jazz fans will be delighted by the presence of Thomas Dutronc.

For a touch of freshness, Cully has also invited a series of oriental-sounding artists, such as Lebanese-born trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf, and Tunisian oud player and singer Dhafer Youssef.

More than ever, the Cully Jazz Festival promotes female talent with several new soul artists: Ayo, Iyeoka, Akua Naru and Joe Bel.

Once again, Cully welcomes Africa: Bassekou Kouyaté & Ngoni ba, Salif Keita, and Swiss djembe master Vincent Zanetti accompanied by Samba Diabaté. The Swiss scene also features three pianists: Leo Tardin, Stefan Aeby, Christoph Stiefel, and singer Olivia Pedroli.

Finally, some 70 free concerts are scheduled for the festival off, in 13 cellars and cafés around Cully.
