Inauguration of 24 new bells
The carillon of the Eglise de la Rosiaz in Pully has just received 24 new bells from the Simon Laudy foundry. With 48 bells in all, it becomes the second largest carillon in Switzerland.
An inaugural concert will take place on Ascension Thursday, May 29, at 6pm. It will be given by Daniel Thomas, carillonneur in Pully, and Gideon Bodden, carillonneur for the city of Amsterdam.
Admission is free, and a collection will be organized in support of the concerts and the carillon. After the concert, you can visit the carillon by climbing the tower.
