Gaudibert's complete works at the BCU
The music archives section of the BCU Lausanne has just welcomed the complete works of Eric Gaudibert.
An initial collection was created during the composer's lifetime, although he kept a number of pieces at home. Following his death, all his works were brought together in Lausanne in the music archive section directed by Verena Monnier.
Éric Gaudibert, born in 1936, died on June 29, 2012. Pianist and composer, he directed musical activities at the Maison de la Culture in Orléans before moving to Geneva in 1975 to teach piano harmony, analysis and composition. He was also President of the Artistic Commission of the Geneva Competition.
