Festi'neuch a success
The 14th edition of Festi'neuch is a success! With glorious sunshine and two sold-out evenings, Festi'neuch has never welcomed so many festival-goers. For four days, the concerts electrified the Jeunes-Rives and won the hearts and ears of over 42,000 people.
This new edition continues to confirm the public's enthusiasm for the Festival, a flagship event in the Trois Lacs region, which combines a cutting-edge and popular cultural offering with leisure activities in a magical setting on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel.
The Tide's stage offered the public a great space to discover new things, and the Phare's new setting, with its mix of soccer and DJ, was much appreciated.
The Dimension 13'17 project, set up with the Centre de Loisirs de Neuchâtel over the past 3 years to make the Festival more accessible to teenagers, is continuing admirably: for the first time, over 1,000 20-franc tickets were snapped up by young people.
Double mouthfuls
After a difficult 2013, the Neuchâtel festival has pulled out all the stops. A revamped management team, a change of date to coincide more closely with the bands' tour dates, a healthy dose of love for music and a loyal team of volunteers have put the festival back on the road to success. These positive results augur well for the next edition of the Festival, which celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2015.
