Come and sing at Victoria Hall
Who hasn't dreamed of singing at Victoria Hall once in their life? Of course, the opportunities to do so without making a fool of yourself are few and far between... Good news: the opportunity is here, just around the corner!
On September 26, a choir of over 100 performers, along with soloists Raphaëlle Farman and Jacques Gay from the Comédie Lyrique Romande, will take to the stage to interpret the greatest arias from the repertoire of musical comedy, opera, variety, French chanson and jazz, from Giuseppe Verdi to Michel Sardou, via Leonard Bernstein, Francis Lopez, Henry Purcell and Charles Trenet: an improbable and fabulous "Best of" vocal music.
Thanks to a giant screen, the audience will be able to sing along to these universal, timeless "hits", which may well trigger uncontrollable emotions and the irrepressible need to let loose.
"Sing... if you like" is the name of this first interactive concert.
