Rencontre des musiques de création
On January 19, 2021, the Fédération Genevoise des Musiques de Création (FGMC) is organizing the first meeting of creative music at the Alhambra in Geneva.
Constrained by health measures, the FGMC has decided to focus this event on mainly online participation. It invites anyone interested in attending to do so via a video streaming and interact on the federation's Facebook and Instagram pages. Only a few places will be available and reserved for the media, elected representatives and public authorities.
The day will be organized around 4 themes:
- What resources, measures and mechanisms are needed to better support artists and the creative and contemporary music scenes?
- Employment law: what legal model(s) for the different types of creative music? Concrete solutions for a musician's status(es)
- The intermittent status
- What model should we follow to create a sustainable cultural ecosystem for creative music?
It will start at 9am and finish at 8pm.
