Concerts
Following the latest announcements by the Swiss Federal Council, the OSR has scheduled two test concerts to reconnect with its audience. Lasting one hour and with no intermission, they will welcome 600 people each on June 9 and 10 at the Victoria Hall.
These two concerts are part of a series of pilot events that will enable the canton to test the feasibility and practicability of protection systems integrating the sanitary conditions currently in use and those linked to the "vaccinated-cured-tested" (VGT) scheme that will be introduced in the next stages of relaxation. The aim is to check that all these measures are applicable, to gather experience and to identify and correct any stumbling blocks. People with proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative PCR/antigen test may attend the concerts. Special seating is provided to respect social distances for both the concert audience and the orchestra musicians.
For the two test concerts on June 9 and 10, the OSR will perform Beethoven's Triple Concerto for violin, cello and piano, as well as his Symphony No. 3 "Eroica", under the baton of the prestigious Korean conductor Myung-Whun Chung.
Concert registrations can only be made on osr.ch.
